Getting Help
Kassi is made by one person. There's no support team, no ticketing system and no chatbot — emails come straight to me.
Please include your iPhone model, your iOS version, and the Kassi version from
Settings → Changelog. It makes problems far quicker to find. Expect a reply within a few days.
Common Questions
Where is my data stored?
On your iPhone. Kassi has no accounts and no servers of mine — nothing is uploaded, and no analytics or tracking of any kind is collected. API keys are held in the iOS
Keychain, encrypted by the system. See the privacy policy for detail.
A widget says it needs a key or a server. Why?
Some widgets read from services you already use — Trading 212, WHOOP, 17TRACK and so on. Because Kassi talks to them directly from your phone rather than through a middleman, you supply your own key. Everything else works without any setup.
How do I try Kassi without connecting anything?
Settings → Data → Fill with sample data. Every widget populates with realistic figures so you can see how it all works. Erase everything from the same screen to return to a clean install.
What does Kassi Pro include?
A one-off purchase — not a subscription — unlocking Earnings Radar, the AI daily briefing, all seven themes and push notifications. Everything else stays free permanently, including the full portfolio, health, spending, training and parcel tracking.
I paid but Pro isn't showing
Settings → Kassi Pro → Restore Purchase. Make sure you're signed into the same
Apple Account used for the purchase. If it still doesn't appear, email me with your purchase date.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by me. Visit
reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your
Apple Account.
Dictation isn't picking up what I say
Check Settings → Kassi on your iPhone and confirm both Microphone and **Speech
Recognition** are allowed. Dictation works best away from background noise. If a food or amount isn't recognised, you can always type it instead.
Are the calorie figures accurate?
They're estimates, shown as a range rather than a single number precisely because they're approximate. Treat them as a guide, not a measurement. Kassi is not a medical device and gives no medical advice.
Is any of the financial information advice?
No. Kassi displays figures and public regulatory filings so you can see them in one place. Nothing in it is financial advice or a recommendation, and it isn't authorised or regulated by the FCA. Always verify against your broker before acting on anything.
Can I rearrange the layout?
Yes. Settings → Pages & Widgets → Edit, then drag the handles to reorder or swipe to remove. You can add, rename, reorder and delete whole pages from the same screen.
Reporting a Bug
Useful reports usually mention:
- What you were doing when it happened
- What you expected, and what happened instead
- Whether it happens every time or occasionally
- Your iPhone model and iOS version
- A screenshot, if there's anything visible
Feature suggestions are welcome too — a lot of what's in Kassi started as someone's passing idea.
